Korea OEM Partnership Case Study

A Seoul-based meal-prep brand came to us in early 2025 with a clear brief: launch a premium borosilicate glass line under their own name, sized for the Korean household, and certified for export. This is how the OEM / ODM partnership unfolded from first sketch to shelf.

The brief

The client wanted a 3-compartment meal-prep set in 520 ml and 800 ml, with pastel silicone sleeves, snap-lock BPA-free lids, and retail-ready gift packaging for department-store channels. MOQ flexibility mattered because they were a growing brand, not a mass retailer.

Approach: ODM first, then custom OEM

We started from proven ODM molds to de-risk the launch, then moved to custom shapes as volume grew — exactly the path most first-time private-label brands should take. Logo printing, sleeve colors and box design were finalized in two rounds of mockups.

Certification and QC

• ISO 9001 quality system throughout production.
• SGS material and heavy-metal migration reports supplied for import clearance.
• Inline + final audit at AQL level agreed before bulk run.
• LFGB documentation prepared for the European expansion the client planned next.

Outcome

The first container shipped within the 25–35 day custom-OEM window. Reorder volume grew 3× within two quarters, and the client extended the line into baking dishes using the same private-label playbook. The partnership illustrates what a capable OEM / ODM supplier should deliver: speed, documentation, and room to scale.
